Track and Field Training

Build speed and strength while also specializing in any of the following events: sprints, high hurdles, low hurdles, long jump, high jump, and triple jump.

General Speed Training

Whether your passion lies in one sport or all of them, Coach Earl will make you better by making you faster! Coach Earl has trained athletes who play basketball, lacrosse, football, soccer, gymnastics, and much more!

Summer Sessions

During summer sessions, larger groups of athletes from various schools and sports come together to get faster, learn about healthy and effective training practices, and socialize! Sessions are longer than during the school year (~3 hours per day) and usually a few days per week. Kind of like track summer camp!

🏃 Daily Breakdown (3-Hour Sessions)

10:00–10:15 AM: Arrival & Dynamic Warm-Up

  • Light jog, mobility drills

  • Active stretching

  • Movement prep (A-skips, high knees, butt kicks)

10:15–11:00 AM: Speed Technique Focus

  • Sprint drills: posture, knee drive, arm swing

  • Acceleration mechanics from various start positions (3-point, falling, push-up)

  • Sprinting form video analysis (weekly)

11:00–11:45 AM: Explosive Strength & Power

  • Plyometrics: bounds, hops, box jumps

  • Sprint-resisted drills (sleds, resistance bands)

  • Core & hip stability circuits

11:45 AM–12:30 PM: Applied Speed / Sport Integration

  • Position-specific drills (e.g. cutting for soccer, quick starts for football)

  • Reaction & change-of-direction (COD) drills

  • Partner chases, mirroring games

12:30–1:00 PM: Recovery & Mindset

  • Breathwork and cool-down stretches

  • Nutrition & hydration tips

  • Mental training: focus, resilience, goal-setting
